This is not a regular frame, more of an insert, it's constructed from the remainders of a double bladed chop saw (the middle bit). The center hole has no lip, only straight sided. The frame can be put into a board, box, cabinet, door, pedestal base? etc so the outside edges lay on top of surface. See 2nd & 3rd photo.
 
Gold leafed with a crosshatch rope texture with spiral borders, don't like the color? paint over it.
Outside measures 3 7/8 x 3 7/8 x 3/4" deep (approx. 3/8" will be above surface and 3/4" below)
Center Inside 3/4 x 3/4" 
Should fit into a 3-3/8 x 3-3/8" opening.
May need to touch up if needed.
