This is not a regular frame, more of an insert, it's constructed from the remainders of a double bladed chop saw (the middle bit). The center hole has no lip, only straight sided. The frame can be put into a board, box, cabinet, door, pedestal base? etc so the outside edges lay on top of surface. See 2nd & 3rd photo.
 
Gold & Silver leafed with crosshatch texture design, don't like the color? paint over it.
Outside measures 3 x 3x 3/4" deep (approx. 1/4" will be above surface and 3/4" below)
Center Inside 3/4 x 3/4" 
Should fit into a 2-5/8 x 2 5/8" opening.
May need to touch up if needed.
