Vintage Opticians Lenses I just love these things, they're so versatile! They can be used for jewelry, sculpture, collage, & altered books. I currently have 2 styles available, the gold pieces have frosted edges that leave a rectangle of clear glass in the center (see photo) & silvery / pewter which are completely clear. They all have slightly different handles.

The magnifiers below would make a great addition to an altered book or other assemblage piece. They're made of a bright silver base metal which could be given a nice aged patina, antiqued or altered. All have a hole at the base of the handles to attach a cord or chain to. |

Plastic Lenses These cool little plastic lenses are 3/4" diameter x 1/4" deep, have two little knobs (which I'm sure could be cut off with a sharp blade), are concave on one side & has a slight set back on the other so you could put something underneath it. The further away from an object that you move it the more fisheye the effect. Notice the text in the photo above. They are plastic so might have small scuffs or scratches. |

G15 Thick Orange Filters 37 mm x 5 mm thick. Vintage
pieces so will have imperfections. These look to be constructed of
layers of glass & the imperfections in no. A are actually in between
the layers. I haven't cleaned these but believe they will clean up ok. |

Vintage Watch Lenses 10 assorted vintage glass watch lenses, will vary in size, glass thickness & shape (all are round but some are more convex than others.) Most have labels still attached but should soak off easily with water, (save them for use in collages). Sizes range from approx. 1" to 1-1/8" in dia. |

Just what you need to add a little humanity (heh heh) to your next project. Fairly realistically modeled people come in three sizes. The largest ones are approx. 3" tall, mid size is approx. 1 1/2" tall & the smallest is approx 3/4" tall. If you're up to the task, these can be painted meticulously to look like real people or paint them a solid color with a wash to bring out the detail. The mid size pieces could be sewn to a quilt, or clothing. Make pins out of them. Populate an environment. Add them to an assemblage or altered book. All kinds of possibilities! |

Hard Plastic Children These
two look like they could be Hansel & Gretal. They're 5/8" wide
x 2" tall & have a base at their feet so they can stand up. I
think the base could be cut off if they're to be attached to a flat surface
instead of standing. The backs are just as interesting as the fronts. 1

1/2" dia. x 1/8" thick, 3/16" hole in the middle. Words
are embossed on 1 side & the other side is smooth. Interesting bits
to glue down to a project with gel medium or use screws to attach them
