The Queen, card by MadRat (that's me) using the new Child's Dress & parts of the Chinese Dancer Doll (Man) found on the Doll page, The King of Heart Crown from the Alice page, borders from the Banners, Borders & Frames page & Rosette #2 from the Design Elements page.

The is the Queen's envelope. I sent this card & envelope to one of my mail order customers who took the time to make me a nice birthday card using MadRat Rubber stamps. I used the same stamps that I used for the card so it's perfectly coordinated. I just hope it gets through the mail ok. (I did send it in a clear envelope after having the stamps hand canceled)

2 pieces sent in by Lynne Tears using the Frank's Restaurant & Yucca Lounge stamps, aren't these perfect?

An envelope I made for a mail art contest. I used Basic Grey paper & stamped my Tall Building, Leaves, Branch w/leaves & the bottom part of the Architectural Ornament on the paper. The scroll to the very left is a rub on. Didn't win anything but had fun making it. The stamps I used can be found in Architectural Elements & the leaves on the Plants page.

These 5 envelopes are ones I made to send to various people. I had lots of fun working on them & hope to do more in the future. Most of the stamps are MadRat Rubber but a few are from other companies as well. Feel free to inquire.

The pieces from here down are some of my own artwork. Some of them are available for sale
so please inquire if interested.

This is an example of how I incorporate rubber stamps in my artwork. I build mixed-media boxes using a variety of materials in their construction. This box measures approx 6" x 6" x 15" to the top of the flag. The box itself is made of 1/2" poplar wood, the rest of the materials consist of masonite, paper, molding paste, real fresh water mussel shells, sculpy (polymer clay) and buttons. The woman and the border waves are from stamps in my personal collection and the pattern on the woman's bathing suit is my small paramecium stamp. I have several other boxes under construction that I will eventually post. If you have images you'd like to share that incorporates at least one of my stamps feel free to send them via email or mail them in so I can photograph them, just make sure you include return shipping cost if you want it back.

This is the second box made for a Bathing Beauty theme show (the one above is the first)
I used Mermaid Tail Elizabethan Head. The torso & wave pattern on the frame are from my personal collection.

This is my newest piece, a Day of the Dead Shrine for a show my gallery holds every year in Oct. The Skulls are stamped into white Sculpy with black ink, as is the Momento Mori on the crosses. The skeleton on the side is my Skeleton Doll also stamped into sculpy, which I painted white, I painted the background black and then green. I went over the skeleton with washes of black & green to tone it down. The other stamps I used are from a couple of other companies that are in my personal collection. The alphabet for "Of the dead..."is from Ma Vinci's, the plants at the bottom are Sunday Int. , the skeleton inside is Rubber Trouble& the winged head at the top is from Carmen's Veranda. I also used my Skeleton Cyclist on the inside which you can't see. The leaves sticking out from behind the skulls is from the Leaf Garland in the ribbon section.
